RECOGNITION

Women Veterans Recognition Day
June 12th
On this day, we proudly honor the courage, commitment, and sacrifice of the women who have served in our nation’s military. Women Veterans Recognition Day, observed on June 12, marks the anniversary of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act of 1948—when women were officially granted the right to serve as permanent, regular members of the U.S. Armed Forces.
This day is not only about recognition—it’s about respect, awareness, and truth.
Dispelling the Myths:
- Women veterans are not a “new” part of the military—they have served in every conflict in U.S. history.
- Their roles have extended far beyond support—they have led, fought, healed, and protected alongside their fellow service members.
- Women veterans deserve equal recognition, resources, and appreciation for their service.
Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and leadership of women veterans who continue to make a difference in our communities and across the nation.
Let us take time to thank, uplift, and support the women who have worn the uniform with pride.
To all women veterans: We see you. We honor you. We thank you.

National Flag Day
Jun 14th
Harvest Church Military Connect Ministry proudly honors National Flag Day on Sunday, June 14th, as we celebrate the symbol of our nation’s freedom, unity, and sacrifice.
We invite our church family, veterans, military families, and community members to join us as we pay tribute to the American flag and remember those who have courageously served and defended our country.
“Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” — Psalm 33:12
Let us come together in gratitude, prayer, and patriotism as we honor our nation and those who continue to protect our freedoms.
INITIATIVES

Dog Tag Initiative
Harvest Church Military Connect Ministry Outreach Team Community Announcement: Supporting Suicide Prevention Through DogTags
We are proud to announce an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our veterans, service members, and community members by supporting a powerful suicide prevention initiative.
We are currently accepting donations to purchase life-saving dog tags through DogTags4Life. These specially designed dog tags are more than just symbols—they serve as constant reminders of hope, resilience, and the value of life. Each tag carries an encouraging message and critical resources aimed at preventing suicide and promoting mental wellness.
Our goal is to place these dog tags into the hands of those who may be struggling silently, offering them a tangible reminder that they are not alone and that help is always available.
How You Can Help:
- Make a financial donation of any amount
- Sponsor dog tags for individuals or groups
- Help spread the word within your networks
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to saving lives and strengthening our community.
Together, we can make a difference—one life at a time.
All donations would be greatly appreciated.
